I'm a koko
Yesterday was Joshua's first day of school at my preschool. After school, Joshua started going to Teacher Adeline's place with me. Yesterday afternoon, mommy and daddy received a surprise email from the principal.
HI Ming Han, Hui Hui,
We welcome Joshua on his first day in kidiLand. Naturally, our little boy felt a little out of place and cried a while after mum left. At snack time, we decided to invite big brother to come in to comfort him a little. Time for bonding as well. Joshua was calm as Lucas watched over him ever so tenderly and brotherly during snack time- Both brothers ate together- so good and relaxed then, that Joshua had 3 to 4 helpings of the yummy fish porridge and asked for more. :-)
For today, we also allowed Joshua to sit in with Lucas in the senior class after snack time.
He was pretty comfortable and blended in quite well, sitting there listening in and watching the older kids do work.
This arrangement is only for today- we'll see how it goes tomorrow. Trust that,he should be more comfortable in the J1 class tomorrow.
Could not resist taking a few photos of the boys during snack time. Lucas is such a great big brother. Great parenting, mum and dad. :-)

Swimming progress
This is new swimming suit that daddy got for me from US. It is called Aqua Sphere Stingray Core Warmer. I couldn't wait to try it out and throw a fit when daddy and mummy wanted to skip the swimming yesterday because Joshua was having running nose. They gave in and off I went swimming with mummy in my new suit. To warm up, I swam 4-6 laps of scissor kick with flippers. Each lap is 50m in the Olympic size pool. Then, I did a total of 6 laps ( with a rest at mid length) of breaststroke together with mommy - the very first time I swim laps without any swimming aids, after learning swimming for 1 year! :D
4-6 laps of scissor kick with flippers, 6 laps of breaststroke, freestyle hand technique exercise plus a few more other exercises, I ended up crying before bedtime, foreseeing that I'll too tired to go school the next day. I actually woke up early in the morning to cry and I cried again at the school's doorstep!
