Great Ocean Road

The long bus ride took us along the Great Ocean Road. At the first stop near Torquay, I saw people surfing (the real thing, not the Internet). Australia is where surfing started

We were so lucky to catch a glimpse of a whale since it wasn't part of the itinerary. Can you spot in the picture below?

Next we went bird watching

The birds here are not scared of people. And their claws are sharp enough to leave scratch marks on our body. Daddy's hair must be messy that the bird thought its a nest

Actually the main attraction in this stop is koala. This is the first time I've seen a real koala and i found out that it's not a bear. It's a marsupial

You can see how long the trip was judging by how tired I was

Melbourne Royal Botanic Garden

This is the one place we missed as by the time we woke up from our nap, it was already late and the sun sets early in Melbourne

Yarra River and Melbourne City Center

While Daddy was busy working, Mommy was brave enough to bring 2 of us for some sightseeing around the Yarra River and the Melbourne City Center

2nd stop - St Kilda Pier

Our next stop after the Melbourne Museum is St. Kilda Pier, another tourist spot in Melbourne. Daddy was here about 10 years ago and it was very nice so that was why he took us here. However part of it was under renovation and it was raining, windy and cold...

Have you tried eating ice-cream in cold weather?

See the rain coat that we purposely bought in Malaysia as we knew it would be raining in Melbourne
