My experience with dengue

The bad aedes mosquito bit me back in early May and infected me with the dengue virus. It all started on a Tuesday April 30th 2013. I didn't feel so good after school and I started getting fever, chills and headache. Daddy and Mommy thought it was HFM because Joshua just had it a week ago and I had rashes. Luckily Daddy took me to the doctor on Friday. Dr Koh after seeing the rashes on my ears suspected that it could be dengue and immediately ordered a blood test. He was right, unfortunately. So I had to be hospitalised.
Thank God that it was not severe. It's just the recurring fever for a few days but staying in hospital is really depressing. Plus it was noisy too with crying kids. I had to wait for a few days before a single room is available.

Luckily Teacher Adeline and Teacher Doreen visited me and brought me plenty of presents to cheer me up

I didn't get discharged until the following Tuesday. Thank you God for keeping me safe

Happy Father's Day

Cycling in Georgetown

I was surprised to see Daddy on the morning of May 12th because he was supposed to go work in the US. Apparently he forgot to bring his passport to the airport. To cheer himself up, he took us cycling in Georgetown. Every Sunday, a small stretch of road in Georgetown is car free so that made it safer to cycle. This is the first time I'd ever cycle on a real street! We rented 3 bicycles at Armenian Street for RM10 each.
