Chinese New Year is really fun

I had been counting down to Chinese New Year for more than a week. On Saturday I jumped out from the bed at 545am and shouted hooray when Mummy told me that we are going back to KL (on usual days I can hardly wake up at 715am).

The celebration started even before Chinese New Year. Daddy took me to this shopping complex with a huge dragon!
(you can tell which shopping complex i went to from the photo above)

to watch acrobatic lion dance on poles since I've been obsessed with lion dance lately

after that it's yummy Chatime

and a quick pose with the nice water fountain outside. Can you see the bears at the background?

Then there was the drum performance

The following day the highlight is definitely reunion dinner. We have so much yummy food to eat thanks to Popo and Pak Niong!

and then it's fireworks time!

And then the angpows started flowing in. And new pyjamas too

On the 2nd day we went visiting my granduncles and grandaunties. They have Ipad too!

On the 3rd day we went shopping again. More yummy drinks

We came back on the 4th day. I know how to peel mandarin oranges on my own!

household chores

I often help mommy with household chores. This is a list of chores that I usually do, with the favorite ones on the top.

1. Move two laundry baskets out from their respective room and load the dirty laundry into the washing machine.
2. Wipe the surface of *everything* with a damp cloth.
3. Fold handkerchief. I can fold a perfect square now.
4. Scrub the toilet.
5. Wash my own shoes.
6. Mop the floor. (Pretty good)
7. Sweep the floor. (Fail)
8. Hang the wet handkerchief to dry and fetching the clothes hanger for mommy.

To the office with mommy

After coming back from daddy's office, I took the liberty of telling everyone that mommy is going to bring me to her office the very next day. After contemplating for very long, mommy really brought me there! It was so happened that there was a Christmas celebration in mommy's office. Everyone was in party mood. Being the only kid around, everyone pampered me to the max, offering me goodies and snacks; and playing with me. I had lots of fun!
